Our office provides a central management point for scheduling classes, meetings, and events for departments at UAMS and the UAMS Northwest Regional Campus. The OAS Instrumentation Lab is a support facility for the repair and maintenance of Academic Services’ large inventory of instructional equipment. OAS Instrumentation offers a wide variety of repair services, which include: electronic, electrical, electromechanical, mechanical, and optical devices. Service requests accepted from other campus agencies are on a time-permitting basis.
Laboratory Support is able to furnish most basic lab equipment to curriculum courses occurring in the Education II Building’s eighth- and ninth-floor teaching laboratories. We can support up to 200 networked computer workstations as well as audio-visual equipment. There are microbiologists, phlebotomists, and computer specialists on staff.
